A horse that is remarkably close to Wifey(dam of Satiety,BM sire of Rabelais) is Thurio(the sire of Padua, whom Blue Larkspur is inbred to(Noteadua's BM sire Paul Jones is a son of Buccaneer!)) Thurio is by Cremorne x Verona (Orlando x Iodine by Ion) Iodene's 2nd dam is Electress. Wifey is by Cremorne x Lady Mary(Orlando) whose 2nd dam is also Electress. I find it interesting that Blue Larkspur makes an appearance in the dam of Sea-Bird's best runner, Allez Fance.

Ich - kam nicht durch den Namen auf Stute,sondern vom Ausdruck des Pferdes dachte ich automatisch : Stute - und als ich sofort die Mutterlinie sah ,habe ich das ueberhaupt nicht mehr geprueft !

Man kann ganz besonders bei dieser Stute sehen,warum die laengeren Rennen nicht soviel aus den Pferden herausnehmen - die geht gerade mal einen guten Canter ! - It's the pace,that kills !
