No. 2 in today's World Cup kür was Matthias Alexander Rath with his 9-year-old gelding Trivant. A Trivant wo is not seen like this before. A start on the program which was not optimal while Trivant lost one of the hind legs one step after the halt from the forward riding up the middle, and which resulted in Mathias wisely chose not to open up for the speed in the following extended trot, in which a rhythm error also occurred. After this it developed to a really nice trip where only the pirouettes lacks strength. A big pat on the shoulder to the training which has been ahead of the competition here, while it has really been a development one could see.
