Ich glaube das du Thomas bist der gleiche Thomas der ein Artikel über Rosentanz in dänische Ridehesten geschrieben hat, oder? Werde ich heute lesen!

Hello GiG!

Today is my first day back on HorseGate in a long time and then I find a new posting for me personally!!

Yes, I am indeed the same Thomas as the one who has written an article about the owner of Rosentanz, Mrs Henriksen, in the latest edition of Ridehesten.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to go to the BuCha this weekend due to a flue but I know Rosentanz placed 11th. From some of the postings on HG from this weekend it seems that there has been some disappointment related to this result.

However, Rosentanz is a very young horse and he is not being pushed to any kind of power performance. I believe him to be the typical Rubinstein descendant who will bloom at a later state of his life. Hopefully, already next year by the age of four he will have matured enough to show himself at his best.

I did ask his owner about the Swedish licensing which she finds interesting - so that is definitely an option for next year. Rosentanz had a tough Summer : He only turned three years in May when he was already busy doing his 30 days test which he won. Right after the test he commenced breeding (already late in the season) and within a period of seven weeks he had covered around 70 mares out of which more than 60 are pregnant. In between his breeding services he went to Verden and qualified for the BuCha. Well done, I think, and he does deserve a break now. At least from competition.
