Läuft ER oder läuft ER nicht ?

Starke Regenfälle verwandelten das Geläuf mehr und mehr in
Ascot in Richtung schwer . Es wäre das erste Mal in seiner bislang
bei 13 Starts ungeschlagenen Karriere , daß Frankel auf einer
schweren Bahn laufen müßte .
Am Morgen soll beim Frankel-Team die Entscheidung fallen .

Bahn frei für Pastorius ( Nur ein wenig Ironie ) .

Der Racing Manager dürfte wohl 200 % über den letzten
Start informiert gewesen sein .
Vielleicht haben es Außenstehende im Eifer des Gefechtes falsch
interpretiert ( im Zusammenhang mit der Frage Start ja/nein ).
Ja , da kann man sagen , die Massen sind nur wegen Frankel
gekommen und deshalb wäre es richtig ihn auch bei nicht
optimalem Boden starten zu lassen .
35.000 , ...es wären auch 70.000 gekommen ,
hätte es den Platz dazu gegeben .

Die Frankel - Anpaarungen sind sicherlich schon seit mehr als einem
Jahr in den Köpfen der entsprechend liquiden Züchter .
Auf der Rennbahn konnten/sollten die zwei " Königskinder "
nicht zueinander finden , aber nun könnte es in der Deckhalle dazu kommen .
Black Caviar´s Besitzer ( Anm.:Sprecher der Bestitzergemeinschaft von
australischen Gemüsebauern , die sich nicht immer nur auf
Beerdigungen treffen wollten und deshalb meinten , beim
Pferderennen wäre es doch viel interessanter )
Neil Warrett haben diese Anpaarung im Visier , sind aber eher der Meinung ,
daß die Mutter Helsinge besser passen würde . Mit ihrem Sohn
All Too Hart hat die Linienzucht auf Danzig bestens funktioniert .
Und der weltbeste Danehill - Sohn Redoute´s Choice mit
Nijinsky im Pedigree ( s. Black Caviar ) steht in AUSTRALIEN ,
Vater der 2010 geborenen Stute a.d. Helsinge .

Bekanntlich steht Redoute´s Choice 2013 den Züchtern in Old Europe
im Haras de Bonneval des Aga Khan zur Verfügung als Shuttle-Hengst .

Cecil pays tribute to 'brilliant' Frankel

SIR HENRY CECIL has paid a glowing tribute to Frankel after the wonder horse returned to his birthplace Banstead Manor Stud on Thursday, where he will start a new career as a stallion for Juddmonte Farms next year.

Bidding a fond farewell to the unbeaten star, who retires to stud as the winner of 14 races, Cecil said he was "pretty certain that there has never been a better or more talented" racehorse than Frankel and thanked the unbeaten star for the part he played in his training career.

The trainer said: "There is no doubt Frankel has been a brilliant racehorse. I am pretty certain that there has never been a better or more talented thoroughbred. He had the speed to be a champion sprinter and then, once he grew up and settled, he got a distance with a turn of foot that makes champions.

"Today is a sad day in some ways for us as he has given us so much pleasure over the last three years. But I want to thank Frankel for so much - for being such a very special part of my training career. Thank you, Frankel."

Frankel received an inevitably warm welcome from the Juddmonte team, including general manager Philip Mitchell, who said: "In the foaling unit on February 11th 2008 at 11.40pm, little did we realise that we were witnessing the birth of a phenomenal racehorse.

"The rest as they say is history and it is now extremely exciting that Frankel will be returning to the stallion unit at Banstead, some 500 yards from where he was born."

Frankel Returns to Birthplace

Frankel, the world's highest-rated racehorse, left training Nov. 8 to return to his birthplace, Khalid Abdullah's Banstead Manor Stud, near Newmarket, England, where he will start a new career as a stallion for Abdullah's Juddmonte Farms.

According to a release, trainer Sir Henry Cecil and his staff bade farewell to the unbeaten homebred 4-year-old colt as he departed Warren Place for the final time the morning of Nov. 8.

Frankel, a champion all three years he raced, received a warm welcome at Banstead Manor from the Juddmonte team including its general manager, Philip Mitchell. "In the foaling unit on February 11, 2008, at 11.40 p.m., little did we realize that we were witnessing the birth of a phenomenal racehorse," Mitchelll said.
Frankel (Galileo—Kind, by Danehill) retired to stud as the winner of all 14 of his races. He won 10 group I stakes and became the first horse to twice run to an official rating of 140. Independent form assessors Timeform gave him a rating of 147—the highest figure the organization has ever awarded.

"There is no doubt Frankel has been a brilliant racehorse. I am pretty certain that there has never been a better or more talented Thoroughbred," Cecil said. "He had the speed to be a champion sprinter and then, once he grew up and settled, he got a distance with a turn of foot that makes champions.
