Samba Hit

I am looking for the perfect match for my Schwadroneur-woernitz mare and I need a large framed stallion with an excellent canter. Samba Hit, Laudabilis and Don Schufro are among my absolute favourites but how do I find out more about Samba Hit? The website of the Neustadt-Dosse stud i very poor and does not inform about the covering service or any detail about the stallions. Of course Samba Hit is in Ausgewählte Hengste Deutschlands but I want to know more about his progeny and the quality of his semen. Do they ship abroad? Does he throw long-legged and large foals? What are the weaknesses of his offspring? I once heard that his semen was quite poor - does anyone know? Anywhere on the internet to find out more about him? I would also like to know more about Laudabilis but I guess his first crop is yet to arrive. Has he been shown under the sadle since his 30TT? You cqn view him on:

Thank you, Lexikothek, Schwalbe is a very pretty mare with very good movements. Last year she was selected for the national finale for 2 yr olds. She was already standing 1m62 at 1,5 yr old which I though was very good BUT she is still only 1m62! I like my mares to be 168-170 cm and Schwalbe's mother was 172.... So now I got the refined type from Schwadroneur but I have to look for a stallion that will pass on heighth and a large frame. Will I ever get the perfect horse???
Funny you should mention Stedinger because I was just looking at him in the AHD yesterday. In 2002 in Oldenburg I wasn't convinced about him but in 2003 in Vechta I must say she stood out as a very nice and interesting stallion. Somehow I found him lighter and more refined in type under the saddle. Very handsome long-legged type. A friend of mine is expecting a Stedinger foal this year out of a Hohenstein mare. I'll keep an eye on that and keep Stedinger in mind for Schwalbe. I must admit I quite like Don Kennedy, too, but that should be for another mare with less Trakehener :o)
Yes I'm from Denmark and it is such a shame that we lost Schwadroneur in November shortly after his proclamation as Stallion of the Year in Germany (Traki). He was a unique sire and has given us numerous top sport horses and very valuable brood mares of highes quality - he was a star. His son BH Hertug is also a super charming stallion BUT in breeding he is not very valuable.
Well, I'm still hoping that someone can tell me more about Samba Hit and Neustadt-Dosse's breeding service :o)

I think the problem is that Neustadt hasn´t a good management for they stallions! And he is not so popular that many peoples in the forum breed with him.

I remember, we talked in this forum about Samba Hit at the time the Bundeschampionat was last year (the topic must be in September or October), so please try to search with the button *suchen* and ask for Samba Hit.
I think you will find some informations, but not about the quality of the semen, but some pictures of foals from SH.

Samba Hit had 18 mares in Sweden 2 years ago and only a handfull of foals was reported born the year after. And after that I don´t think he was available in Sweden anymore. I heard some angry voices about bad semen quality...
However, I´ve seen a couple of his offsprings and they both looked really great. One tends to became small but reading old topics on this page tells me Samba would not through small babies? Someone was against his exterior and I would like to know what in his exterior that isn´t good/correct?
Right now I am considering buying a Samba Hit-offspring!

Ich war gestern auf der Hengstschau in Neustadt/Dosse... und war begeistert von Samba Hit.

Ein schönes in sich geschlossenes, elagentes Pferd, allerdings ist der ziemlich groß, im HVP steht etwas von 178..... ich stand auch daneben.... das kommt so hin, dennoch wirkte er nicht gewaltig.

Trab und Galopp fand ich sehr gut, Schritt hab ich nicht gesehen.... Dr. Müller sagte er hätte für den Galopp hohe Noten bekommen, sprach er gar von einer 9 (sorry will nichts Falsches sagen&#33

Im vergangenen Jahr hab ich auf unserer Fohlenschau hier ein Samba Hit Fohlen gesehen, was später auch auf den Fohlenchampionat an 5 Stelle plaziert war . War wirklich ein schönes langbeiniges Fohlen in dunkler Jacke, allerdings zur FS noch sehr jung, glaube gerade 3 Wochen alt.
Wenn man die Ergebnisliste des Calvörder Fohlenchmpionates ansieht, wird man feststellen, daß er mit 7 Fohlen die meisten prämierten Fohen hatte.
Also ich denke von ihm wird man noch hören!

ich find den hengst auch toll, seine abstammung spitze, die familienleistung erwähnenswert,

aber: die grösse des hengstes entspricht nicht den zuchtrichtlinien... hüstel...

War gestern ebenfalls auf der Hengstschau in Neustadt/Dosse. Auch wenn ich kein Modetrend-Fan bin (mag lieber Füchse ) hat mir Samba Hit sehr gut gefallen. Er ist wirklich recht groß, aber war durch den Reiter gut abgedeckt.

Dr. Müller sprach von einer 9 für den Trab und sogar eine 10 für den Galopp. Im Schritt wurde er leider nicht gezeigt. Aber durchweg korrekt geritten und trotz der vollen Halle wirkte er sehr ruhig und gelassen.

Ich hol mal ein sehr altes Thema hoch. Ich habe Samba Hit am Sonntag in Krumke gesehen und war schwer angetan von dem doch nicht mehr so jungen Burschen. Laut Dr. Müller (der die Kommentierung der Neustädter Hengste gemacht hat) ist seine Nachzucht im Amateursport und im Huntersport in den USA sehr beliebt.
Hab auch ein bisschen gefilmt, allerdings nur mit dem Handy.

Ich finde Samba Hit auch klasse. Wahrscheinlich kriegt er dieses Jahr zwei Stuten von uns. Gerade weil ich einen Hengst gesucht hab, der zuverlässig Größe und Rahmen vererbt. Desweiteren sind mir seine Nachkommen immer als sehr freizeittauglich aufgefallen. Vielleicht nicht die Pferde Für den ganz großen Sport, dafür aber immer händelbar. Habt ihr vielleicht noch mehr Eindrücke für mich? An was für Stuten hat er denn besonders gut gepasst?
