morgen ,
ich denke sein großer Fehler war ,das er im Schritt die ganze Zeit kurz - lang gegangen ist !!!Da kann man eben nicht drüber hinweg sehen,oder !
Aber sonst war es auf alle Fälle einer der Titelkandidaten !!!
Was ist den nun mit dem Rotspon Brentano II geworden ,für wieviel wohin ?

Hi,
I was in Verden, too! It's difficult to always agree on the ranking of the stallions and I certainly would have liked it differently but time will tell which of the stallions are worth their premium! It was difficult this year as there was no clear and outstanding Siegerhengst like His Highness - they only come once in a while! The Siegerhengst did not have the class of recent years' champions but perhaps he was the best? I found that the Londonderry/Weltmeyer's are just an extension of the Weltmeyer line - locked back, short legs and lacking blood in the type. The champion, though, was much better than the expensive no. 3 that fetched 175.000 at auction going to Celle. I would very much have liked the Weserstar S-Warkant to go further up front as he to me stood out as one of the best models for international dressage. Neverthelessm there were lots of good stallions.
We had chosen five favourites out of which we got down to our two favourites for the auction, no 45 and 98. We thought that 98 was the best mover in Verden but unfortunately lacking frames whereas 45 stood out with mega Ausstrahlung and very refined type, ideal conformation, uphill movement and as an added value; good jumping abilities. We saw 45 in the longe Friday morning and there he convinced us completely in the way he sat down and worked from behind with lots of power, rhythm and elasticity. In the arena he had seemed a bit tired and less convincing. We managed to purchase him at the auction despite strong bids from Heike Kemmer and a couple of big German studs. His new owner in Denmark is very pleased with him and he will remain in Germany with Westendarp for his performance test and championates.
I was rather chocked that no 99 was not approved - apparently because of its carriage of the tail! This was the most complete and outstanding future dressage stallion of all and I have difficulties in imaging that the tail would ever become a problem - neither in own performance nor in breeding.
It was breathtaking for me to see His Highness under the sadle, he is such an outstanding, powerful and talented beauty but his rider is an absolute catastrophy! She might be ok with their ponies but this horse is far too big and talented for her. It would be more admirable to admit so and let someone professional take over rather than trying to hang on to the reines herself. I believe the American owners cannot see how harmful it is for the career of their wonderful stallion. Schade!
Anyway, these were my impressions. Hope I haven't hurt or insulted anyone.

die 99 wurde total von jonatat vermanaged und ich hoffe dass der hengst seine chance unter einer sensiblen reiterin nun bekommt. der hengst wurde im vorfeld schon als siegerhengst gehandelt, aber was sie sich da draußen vorm freispringen geleistet haben ist schlicht eine sauerei.

er hat ihn fünzehn minuten abgekocht, war wirklich nicht mehr fair. freunde von mir aus holstein haben es gesehen, viele andere auch und man hat ihn gebeten mit dem sch.. aufzuhören. so kam er auch rein, zittrig, hinten total eingeklemmt. das hat dem züchter ne stange geld gekostet. das pferd tut mir leid, er hätte sicherlich körsieger werden können. schade. das mit dem im anderen topic erwähnten schritt kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. sah auf dem pflaster noch ganz ordentlich aus. im ring am donnerstag war der arme total durch den wind, den konnte keine körkommision der welt anerkennen. aber ich denke man wird noch von ihm hören, hoffentlich. aber was man von sprehe hört, ist er mehr als zufrieden mit dem hengst, er klemmt nicht mehr..nichts. das haben die sehr gut gemacht
