Shannon found Sea Lord through a local race trainer. He has always been called "Big Bird" or "Birdy" at home because of his general likeness in appearance and personality to the wonderful Sesame street character.

Shannon met Silva about 6 months ago in Aiken, through Phillip, and immediately thought she would be the right rider for Sea Lord. As an owner, Shannon does not have personal plans to compete him, and expects only to enjoy watching his development with Silva.

Silva has been working with Silva for the past 6 months, and is very excited about this horse's potential. He is showing fast talent towards being a future Grand Prix horse, in a competition world dominated by warmbloods!

2008 is Sea Lord’s first Dressage season and he is already showing and winning third level with scores in the seventy’s. Silva and Sea Lord are hoping to show at the FEI level in 2009.

Was ist aus den beiden jetzt geworden?

ADMIRING ist Vollschwester Zur mutter der "Wunderstute" ALLEZ FRANCE v.SEA BIRD,die einmal den ARC gewann und einmal 2. war.

Silva war frueher Bereiterin bei Rudolf Zeilinger und hatte dort auch ein Pferd von mir geritten.Wir haben uns aus den Augen verloren,weil sie erst nach Australien ging und dann nach USA,heute Abend sah ich zufaellig ein Bild von ihr in einer US-Pferdezeitschrift und las,dass sie gerade die amerikanische Staatsbuergerschaft bekommen hat.Als ich sie "googelte" fand ich den Vollblueter,werde sie in den naechsten Tagen mal anrufen und mich nach seinem Werdegang erkundigen.
In einem Interview hat sie gesagt,er sei das sich am besten bewegende Pferd,das sie je geritten haette - und sie hat eine Zahl guter Pferde bei Zeilinger geritten !

Ihre Schwester - auch Bereiterin bei Zeilinger - hat uebrigens meinen Vollblut-Hengst,RIDGMONT mehrere Jahre dort geritten.

So heute mit Silva telofoniert,SEA LORD geht Prix St George/Inter I und in der Arbeit bereits alle Grand Prix Lektionen.
Werde seinen Werdegang genau verfolgen und sein Pedigree noch genauer aufarbeiten,wenn ich Zeit habe.
Wird interessant werden,ob ich Verwandtschaft ausfindig machen kann,um zu sehen,ob er ein "FREAK" ist, oder die Linie all dies bereit stellt !!!

Witzig - fuer all die,die glauben mit dem XX wuerde man den (Dressur)Galopp verbessern - Silva sagte,dass er sich im Galopp schwer tue !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Das entspricht genau meiner Erfahrung und dem,was wir alljaehrlich bei der Vollblut-Jaehrlingsmusterung auf Gestuet Rietberg sahen !
