Heath Ryan rises to the occasion at Dressage wtih Altitude festival

Heath Ryan and Regardez Moi
Winners of the 2013 Dressage with Altitude Grand Prix Freestyle CDI3*Monday, 18 February 2013
The Dressage with Altitude festival has successfully wrapped up for another year with the city of Orange turning on fine weather for the four days of competition.
This year there were no interruptions from the weather and the event ran to schedule. With some prominent Grand Prix combinations, Rozzie Ryan and GV Bullwinkle, Tor Van Den Berge and Fishermans Friend, and David Shoobridge and 007, withdrawing before the start of competition the class was still of very high standard with Heath Ryan and the 16 year old Regardez Moi taking out the Grand Prix Freestyle CDI 3* with a 72.325%. One of the standout performances of the night came from a ‘new comer’ to the big tour, Mark Arthur and Kooinda Saint, producing a 68.40% to finish just behind Sheridyn Ashwood on Prestige VDL (68.90%) and Kerry Mack on Mayfiled Pzazz (68.525%). Not bad for his first Grand Prix Freestyle.
Earlier in the weekend Brett Parbery dominated the small tour classes on Greg and Julie Farrell’s Aberhallo 29 and Susan Duddy’s DP Weltmiesser.
Heath Ryan took out both the CDN Grand Prix (Utopia Cardinal) and the CDI 3* Grand Prix (Regardez Moi).
